After playing with the tools at the top of the board....I realize....what an idiot....

The "modern view" toggle puts everything in the same format as other boards I get on....cant believe it took me that long !!.....

Who prefers the old format??

I use the new version. Even though some of the features are turned off, it still is more user friendly for posting pictures and text. The interface between the old and the new, although ingenius, really hurts the Modern view, as you can't keep your e-mail up, can't reply with an easy button, etc etc. But too many YT users said they would jump off a bridge if Kim switched it full over, so she made a terrific compromise.

The modern view shows a preview of the post without clicking on it. It does not show who all replied as in the old (classic) forum. David.

Me.

The "modern" view does not give you as much information before you open a message. It is why I don't use other forums.

I prefer the new, as the most recent posts always jump to the top.

Judging by the hit counters I think that most people are still using the old forums.I do about 95% of the time.

I use the old. I like php fine but Kim still has most of the features turned off killing any advantage. Also the colors hurt my eyes and the font size seems small. Yeah, I could change my properties but then other sites would be too large. So, yeah, I guess I'll struggle along. The only part I don't like about the old is in posts with many replies and replies to replies it gets real confusing as to who is replying to what.
