Well we packed up the caseroles and gifts and drove 2 hours to Kansas City, the last half in sleet. Ate, opened gifts, said our goodbys and drove back in ice, sleet, rain, snow, and wind.
Dodged slow drivers, speeding drivers, ignorant driver, chunks of ice, wrecks, etc. Got home and fed my wifes lunkhead horses, in the aforementioned weather, in the dark, and just got back in the warm. I went in through the basement to take off my boots and looked at my beagle, sleeping on his cushion by the electric heater and thought about the ole saying about not fit out for man or beast. I think my beast is smarter than I am!

Merry Christmas to all my YT buddies! Hoping it's not so bad that Santa can't get here with my new Super H wiring harness, clutch disk, gasket kit and maybe some bearings and small things in the stocking.

Gene

They were talking 2" to 5" of the white stuff for us (Eastern Nebraska). Lucky for us (unlucky for you) looks like it mostly went south.

Gene I just checked MO DOT`s road map and it has finally made it here and the lights are flickering a little. Wish this weather had stayed in KC.

it is a BAD storm. Hope you get thru it as good as we did..2-4 foot drifts and wind that will take your breath even if you are wrapped up. STAY INSIDE IF YOU CAN. It will pass in a few hours.

I had to work in this blizzard today till 13:30 fixing broken rails. Visibility to nothing, 40 mph wind, snowing, 25 degrees, 40 mile drive home with the same idiots you must have seen....WAS I GLAD TO GET HOME AND GET WARM.

Sleep sounds like a plan after that. May the remainder be more compatible with your definition of reality. Jim
