switched the hydraulic hoses on the 240 fast hitch, solved the problem!! hitch now raises smoothly and goes down without making a bold statement!!! hitch doesnt stall either. and the controls now work in the correct direction. who ever had the tractor before must have either replaced the hoses or cylinder and put em on wrong!!

Looks like there's as many ways to plumb hydraulics as there is to wire a 12 volt conversion!!!!! !!!! David.

mine only has three outlets on the back, here is the set up. the tractor was missing the linkage from the valve to the control rod, it was also missing the control handle. i fabricated up a rod from some 3/8 cold rolled stock and a handle from some 3/16 flat stock. seems to work ok

David, there are safety and check valves behind those plugs. Remove the plugs to service the valves.
