I know where there is an old M that got a bath a day or two ago. Think I ought to wax it when it gets here? :>)

Hey Allan, Shawn says if and when you get tired of that M, just head west with it and we'll intercept you on I-84...LOL

Oh he was real adamant about the front tires, said NO TRACTION TREAD. Them thing had to go..LOL..LOL

Good looking unit, sure glad it is going to a good home.

Iffen it had 36 inch rubber on the back, I come out fur coffee some late nite...But I would bring my own flashlite...LMAO

I was going to suggest heading east, I'll meet you half way too. Great looking rig, even with the front traction treads. Reminds me of the tires my Grandfather ran on his on the farm. They sure don't make 'em like that anymore!

You buy the tractor for 2/3rds of it's value and the guy WASHES it for you? I suppose he has to haul it to your place too. Looks like another grill repair for MikeCA. I was hoping to get it to hook up to a small plow. Leave it permanently attached so I don't have to change out implements between all the plowing.

He's getting rid of the tires and replacing them with tri-ribbed. I've got dibs on the set. third party image

That tractor was a decent price - and those gripper front tires will help you with your "spin-out" problem! LOL

My before and after pics just show a rusty tractor with flat tires to a rusty tractor with decent tires... someday I'll paint.

Well,

It's been a long, long time since I've seen a tractor that was priced "correctly" as this one was and told myself that if one ever rose to the surface again, I'd break down and buy it.

Most are wildly overpriced and totally laughable.

This seller was not out to rape anyone, just wanted to move the tractor and actually pushed the "bad" parts of it first, which I might add, was really, really refreshing from my country point of view.

So, did you meet him halfway?

You didn't waste anytime so I assume you went all the way.

Will we see new front tires tomorrow?

No,

I'm sending him the funds up front and then we'll do the haul thing probably after the first of the year as soon as I can find time to break away my schedual here.

The Gent wants this tractor taken care of because it was his Grandpa's. Can't blame him a darned bit.

Grandpa sure knew what he was doing.

Can't help but have a lot of respect for a family that takes care of things the way they do.

Can ya believe that paint job is 20 years old?
