Probably payed to much for it but I was helpping out a friend. I'll have to drive it home tomorrow, just 1.5 miles away from the house so not a bad drive if I can get it to start. It hasn't run since this spring but I think it will start with just a little playing with things. Odd thing is the fact it has pressed steel centers on both sides instead of the heavy cast centers like most I have seen/had. Came with a 5 or 6 foot pull brush hog also. Tires real good and even the paint isn't all that bad and the decals are still there

I've never seen a B with cast centers. Maybe it's a regional thing.

Pat --

I'm wondering if you know if the guy still has that B? I'm close enough to take a look if he does.

my 41 b has the pressed center steel wheels. they are about identical to the wheels on the 240 utility i got. the b is a nice little tractor, i have a 59 woods under mine, and a pto mount hydraulic pump, i use it on the log splitter. i dunno if its just the one i have, but that dang b is a wheelie popin little tractor. got to be real careful in 1st or second, she comes up quick!!. scared the poop outa me a couple times!!!

I forget where you are located... but my funds are tied up with a new house construction and baby on the way in the next couple months... it's already been pretty stressful at times!

Hopefully in a couple years I'll start having funds available to get back into my old tractor addiction. third party image

Nice find, wish I could find a B close to home... Dad grew up on one and we have been trying to find a reasonably priced one for the last few years.

Most of the Bs I've seen had the steel wheels... only a few with the cast.

Well if you where closer you could buy this one. All I plan to do with it is getting it running as well as can be and then resell it. I don't need a B for any thing I was just helping the guy out. He sold his place and didn't want to have to haul it 75 miles to his new place plus with his new place he got a 460 so the B was something he didn't need/want any more
