Just wondering, tired of buying tarps every year or 2 it seems. Even the "uv" treated ones go away too soon.

Thanks,

scott: old hit it right on for you, pay the money and you can buy good tarp. He perhaps was a bit generous, I think it may be more than 5 times as expensive.

We have a shop around here that makes covers for boats, pontoons, pickup boxes. Might check with this type of dealer for strong waterproof material.

I have a canvas tarp I bought in 1981 and still use it. It has been outside most of that time. I may have bought it from somewhere like Graingers. Insert www and com for a look and pricing.

It has covered five barrels of Portland cement with plywood underneath for support. Atmospheric moisture has hardened the top three inches but the rest is still soft.

I just picked up some old tents from a guy that sets them up. They were old, but hardly any holes and very heavy material. You may try a tent co. if you have one in your area. Good luck

If you are willing to pay price get a nylon tarp like the ones over the road class 8 flatbeds use it will lat a lifetime if cared for. Most any truck tarp shop will custom make any size and shape you want.

Only ones that will last are the old type tarps made from canvas but your also pay a good price for them. You can buy 5 plastic ones or maybe more for what a canvas one the same size will cost you but on the other hand the canvas one will last 5 times longer also.
