Hi!

I"m new here and new to tractors in general.

I wonder if someone here would be so kind as to help me with this.

I have a Farmall M, Made in 1950, originally (i think?)as a kerosene engine unit.

It has the little auxiliary tank for gasoline.

The serial number is FBK 225200.

I am trying to figure out what oil filter I need.

The store on this site shows 2 models that look almost identical.

Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Thanks to all of you who responded.

I went to Fram"s site and got their number of C136A and the Napa number of 1125.

I didn"t even think to check a mfr"s site for an oil filter for something almost 60 years old!

Thanks again to everyone!

If you have a Case-IH dealer in your area, he"ll probably have it right there on the shelf.

third party image

I think this is the one you need. Compare your serial number to the listings.

In a NAPA you need a 1125 which is the later s/n tractor.

Napa will cost less, they stock or can get it 1 day most parts that I needed for my H.

There is a short oil filter and a taller one. Tall filter number C136A. (FRAM) I cannot remember the short filter number. You could also go to NAPA and they would look up the number for you. See more on www.fram.com
