I am going to replace my 6V battery on my H. She is in her parade clothes...So it doesn't get started every day but I do fire her off once a week and drive around a bit. Also what would be a good work out to blow the webs out of it once in awhile. Thanks for all....

Where in NC are you. I am west of Murphy and to get my M up to speed I drive it up the hills in 4th gear. Last week I drove it to Murphy 15 miles. then in an hour parade pulling a float and back home. I pulled my trailer with an A on it to town and back (3500 lbs total weight) in 5th gear and it actually got up the the L on cold. ran like a top.

Sounds like you need a new thermostat, or temperature gauge.

They run best and use less fuel if they get warm.

Henry, I reside in Havelock over on the crystal coast. I am looking forward to making the show rounds this year.

It's always good to get any engine up to operating temperature any time you start it.

If the thermostat doesn't open for a few minutes the water is not really circulating.
