On the injection pump for a 1066, where is the fuel adjustment screw located? Is it under the cap on top or is it near the low idle screw on the back? Thanks for your help.

I forgot to mention it but the pump is an American Bosch. Are these pumps also prone to having the supply pump go out or get weak and make it hard to start after warming up? Thanks.

Ambac pumps when hard to start @ operating temp most likely the head & rotor of the injection pump. Do you have any cranking deliveery when it wont start( crack lines at the injectors and see )?

I haven't cracked the lines when trying to start it. Doesn't seem to do it all the time. The last time it happened it was a very hot day. The first thing I did was to change the filters. It started up after that. That's what made me ask about the supply pump because that particular time it was running good at mid to full throttle then when I throttled down, the engine just went down and off just like you turned it off. If it sets for a long time it is a little hard to start too but the batteries aren't the best. Thanks for your help. I'm not the best with the inner workings of these pumps.

From my experience, when they are hard to start when warmed up it is almost always the main part of the inj. pump. Sorry to bring bad news.
