I know this doesn't belong on this site, but I need to ask some internet audience. Has anyone themself (or heard of anyone) receiving notification that they won in a UK Lottery Drawing? Thanks for reading and responding!

Hi, latest scam email I am receiving is from IRS saying they had recalculated my tax return and am due a refund, please fill out the form on line to have the refund depositted in your bank account. Went to online form and the required items are SSI and Bank accout number including PIN number.

This was all for $3.24 tax refund.

I wonder how long it would be before my bank account would be $00.00 if I filled out the form?

The United Kingdom national lottery does not inform winners.Ticket holders are 100% responsible and you have to walk in with your ticket and claim MTF

One of the real keys to winning any lottery is that you have to enter.

If you entered the lottery, get real excited.

If you didn't bother to enter, refer back to the old joke about asking God to let you win the lottery. He finally says "give Me a break, buy a ticket".

I've actually been to Nigeria on business, and ot the UK. Never bought a lottery ticket either place, but I have been notified of winning.

Don't you guys be too critical, I have friend who won $118,000. in 1962 and it was UK sweep stakes, and the money was very real. Two years later he told me his biggest problem was all his friends were annoyed with him. Problem was almost all of them showed up wanting to borrow money. He told them it was a lottery, not a give away. He was discussing this with myself and one other, said he was glad we never asked as he wouldn't have had any friends left.

Most scams are from either Nigeria or the UK.

I win at least twice a week. One day I won three times. Problem is, I haven't seen any money yet.

Yea, I've won several times. I haven't recieved the money yet though. Maybe it is held up in customs. And the really great thing is that I don't remember buying a lottery ticket.

I also have a contact in Ethiopia that is going to send me a coupla million dollars too, just for helping him get it out of the country.

So many money making opportunities in this internet, just don't give them your bank account numbers, because they are scams.

You all must be samll timers, I win at teast 2-3 times a week and my guys that want to give me $30 million for helping them get money out are from Nigeria or Sierra Leone diamonds.

These guys are right in there with the banking guys wanting to confirm my account details. What they don"t know is that my banking is done at a small country bank I have had an account in for over 40 years and have never had money in Citi Bank or Bank of America, etc.!!!
