I have an old IH 315 that is pretty much shot except for the engine. I have a 560 with a bad engine. Where do I even start when taking the motor out of the combine? What should I look out for? Any tips?

Hi SMDV, It is very basic, I take the radiator and the pulleys and housing from the rear first just to get them out of the way. Also the hydraulic pump you won't be using, take the manifold, you won't be using that either. Then you will have good places to anchor chains to lift it off. You realize this is the 221 engine like the 460. Good luck, Chuck
