Hello,
I was wanting to add more wheel weights to my 1466. I have 16 halves total. Can I put two sets on the inside of the wheel and two on the outside and secure them with just the four bolts(grade 8) per side, or would that be too much weight on the bolts.
Thanks YC

My brothers put about 1,000 lbs on the inside an d 1,000 lbs on the outside of each rear tire on a 1066. Using 4 3/4" all thread bolts that run throug both weigths. The main thing is to keep them tight.

That's nothing. I've installed 1400 pound wheel weights on 8000 series Deeres, all they use is three 20mm bolts.

Four large, tight, grade eight bolts will hold a tremendous amount. I'd say you can put on as many weights as you want.

I've got a neighbor that runs 4 to 6 sets of the things all on the outside.
