What's the 'going rate' on a Super M?

I was wondering if someone could give me an idea of what my Super M might be worth, or even a high-low range if possible? I recently moved to Chicago from WI (where it's located), and as much as I wish I could, I just simply cannot take it with me.

Unfortunately, I don't have the serial numbers at the moment, nor will I even be able to say for sure what year it is until I head back up north in a couple of weeks... which is why I'm just looking for a ballpark figure right now.

As for what I can tell you, it does have the factory wide front end (i.e. not a tricycle), and absolutely runs like a top. No major leaks to speak of, or at least no pools of liquid on the floor beneath it. Cosmetically speaking, the paint is a little faded, but the body/tin is all but flawless and still has the original decals, etc.

I'd really like to see it go to someone who'd take good care of it, so I'm willing to give the right guy a good deal... I just have no idea what that is.

Thanks!!

Thanks for the replies. Are these prices what I could expect to get, or what I should asking?

The tires are brand new, I forgot to mention that earlier, and I'll check the location of the hydraulic pump when I head up north. It's been stored inside for most of it's life so that's really helped to keep it in pretty good shape. Although it's just sitting outside at a buddies house now, so the sooner I move it the better...

The prices are about what happy sellers and happy buyers are satisfied with. JimN

BJG do you remember if you use a lever pushed with foot or pull a rod to engage starter?

If it has live hydraulics (distributor drive is the pump), and if it has great usable tires on both ends, and runs as stated, I would say 2500$. If the tires are worn/checked/cracked, and it is an early SM, with a belly pump, 1500 would be OK. If the tires are great and an early SM 1750. JimN
