How funky will my Wesendorf loader work on my M with the standard hydraulics, this my be my best option for now.

Not worth a darn; not enough oil capacity.

Put a tank and PTO pump on it.

If it has two-way cycls you will need to but a breather cap on the non-pressurized side of the cycl and let gravity lower the arms. Now the bucket is another story if it has two-way cycl.

It does have it's own valve set, won't that work like it should but maybe slow?

The only reason it will be slow is if the pump is not up to snuf.

Probably has a built in resivour if it has its own valves. Jus hook hy line from the right side below the beltpulley to the in side of the valve assy. You should have another hose from return on valve assy or the built in res. You will need a tee on the standpipe of the res on the tractor. To make the valves work pull back the lever on the tractor and lock it back this moves hy fluid from thactor pump thru the valves to make them work. You mite need to get someone to help do this that has some experience in hy systems.

They been on M's forover 50 years should stil work as good as ever, best loader ever made.
