Can you interchange farmall fenders from a H or M to a farmall C? Thanks George

I think that the shape and the size of the fender is the same for the c and for the M and H. The mount to the axle is different. You could make an adapter that would clamp around the the axle and then bolt the fender to it.

Or trade for the correct fenders.

They're not a direct bolt-on, true, but they're made of steel and anything made of steel can be modified to suit the wishes of its owner. It's just a matter of how much work and additional material is involved, then whether the owner is capable of making the modifications, has a friend capable of making the modifications, or is willing to pay a professional to make the modifications.

They can be made to attach to the axle, but the real question is, do they "fit" with the tractor? H/M clamshells may look ridiculously huge on a C.

No they are made completly different. HM fenders have flat mounting pads, and the C fenders are half hexagon to wrap around the C axle.
