Would anyone be interested in an Erskine pull-type snow blower? I am located in East Grand Forks, MN. I know of at least 3 for sale right now. 5ft. or 6ft. models. Have not checked into the price yet, but I'm thinking about $350 each?? Here is a picture of the 5 ft. model that I use.

I might be interested in a 5". How do you direct the snow and how heavy are they. I have a compact JD750 with 18hp

Just guess on the weight I would say 300-400 lbs. I know it's lighter than my 5ft brush hog mower. The snow is thrown either right or left. See the handle, that flips the shute back and forth. I have lots more pics so SHOOT ME AN E-MAIL. I will be out of town all this week so might not get back to you right away.

I've heard of that white stuff before. It looks cold and miserable.

I've got one and I think it can be reversed for push. Purchased it used four years ago and haven't had a decent snow to use it and mine just sits.

Al: Should we tell him? You and I along with a few others have declared ON, MI, WI and MN a snow free zone this winter. I realize this jepordizes Buffalo and Rochester NY as they have always relied on that snow blowing in all the way from western Canada.

We had five or six inches according to the weather service. It was 'falling???' horizontally for over an hour. About four hours later we received sleet and it soaked in and crusted over. Currently 30 mph winds, like Hugh said, coming from northwestern Canada and it will be hard as a rock come Monday morning with 12 degree temps. Tampered with the Toro snowblower enough that I got last years gas to ignite and do the last third of the driveway. The ever-reliable metal scoop shovel did the first two-thirds.

Teddy: Since Al is in WI, I'm 400 miles to the east, you'll have to talk with him, or blame it on the Canadian Prairies.

I am going to put my rear blade on my B and hopefully I won't need it to much here in IL. But I do have a good time showing up the Village snow plow!
