I have an old A that needs a new rear tire. The old tire size is 10-24. I cant find one any where so I would like to know is an 11.2 about the same size or what would be my best option. The tire on the other side is in great shape but I hit a piece of steel with the right side that just slit it from sidewall to sidewall.

Measure your rims they are probably 8in and the 9.5 is a good fit. A lot depends on the tractor use. Do you need lots of traction. Too big of a tire and you can lose H.P. real quick as the A is not powerful to start with.

11.2-24 is the modern number that is equal to 10-24 from when they changed how they measured tire sizes somtime back in the 1960s.

Click onto to Misc, then Faq's, and a chart will come up showing old and new tire size equivalents.

I think the 11.2 replaced the 10. It is the same size tire, it is just measured in a different place.
