I took the clutch pedal off to be rebushed and noticed the shaft needs to be built up and turned down. If I remove the brake pedals will the shaft push thru the case? It moves back & forth some and it seems like it should just come out, but I thought I would ask first.
Thanks for any assistance. Tom/Idaho

Yes it will slide out with the brake pedals on if there's room between tire, wheel or other things. Or it will come out other side if brake pedals and key is removed. Best to remove any burrs or raised places on shaft before sliding through. Also may be below your transmission oil level and will come out holes if so. Good time to replace the shaft seals while out.

I"m betting there is a "throw out bearing" attached to the middle of that shaft some where.
