Can anybody tell me the availability of a rebuild kit (sleeves/pistons/rod/etc) and price for a 1939 F-30? I bought this F-30 from a cousin of mine today. The Good stuff: straight tin, F & H wheels all around, been inside 35+ years. The Bad stuff: Sleeves, pistons, etc. are out of engine. Cousin says that he has a complete rebuild kit for it and that the head was completely re-done (35 years ago, but we can't find the rebuild kit. Found 3 out of the four original pistons/sleeves, but they appear to be rusted beyond use. There is so much stuff piled on and around this that it'll take me a day to dig it out. Cousin said in it's day it would take 3/16 plows through any kind of ground.

Check with Rice Equipment. Gordon may have some of the parts you need.

Powermax shows a sleeve, piston kit with high altitude pistons for a F-30 on there website. A F-30 on full steel will pull 3-14's in 3rd gear quite easily untill it gets in to sticky jumbo then 2nd with light front end! If I was wanting a set of sleeves and pistons I would call this #641-624-2275

New F30 pistons and sleeves are going to be nearly impossable to find. If there are any in the world I'd check with Justin Weber. Don't throw out what you have just yet. You might be surprised how well they clean up. I am going to have a couple sets of used pistons and sleeves as soon as i get the tractors torn down.

Congrats on the "new" purchase. I would like one of those old beasts to go with my F-12. Hopefully I am getting an old Regular this winter, so heres hoping. Have fun digging it out, you never know, amybe youll run across the old engine kit. As far as engine parts I suggest you try The Fordson House, they have many of their parts listed online. I was able to get alot of F-12 parts through them.
