How can you tell if a 1950 Farmall C was a white dealer demo model?

As Jim says, except that there is an accepted serial range -- may not be 100% accurate, but close -- 47010-54411, or the 1st three months of 1950. Jim, this came from Richard Lantis -- he died a couple of months ago, used to be an IH dealer, actually delivered a white C at the age of 10 or 12, for his dad, darn near rolled it when going into the new owners driveway. Richard was an expert on nearly everything IH. I have one of those, was asking questions on the Red Power forum, when he emailed me with the details. Very well known on that particular forum.

If it falls in the accepted range of #s, and it has definite white paint in locations that would be undisturbed under other paint, and not primer for a newer paint job, and not repainted with white, you can say it is. There is no way to be sure unless there is a trail of ownership and written material from the owner. There is no record of particular SNs that are white. JimN
