i asked about an adaptor from 1 1/8 to 1 3/8 pto shaft well i just come back in from getting a bolt out of my old A parts tractor and guess what it has a 1 3/8 in it! will those iner-change? could i be so lucky?

You will have to add or remove shims when changing PTO's from one tractor to another. There should be a small amount of free-play when the mounting bolts are fully tightened.

Yep should be a matter of pulling one off and putting the other on. I would replace the seals etc when I did it. Note I said should be, I'm not 100% sure they will but I would pull the one and look it over good then pull the other and see if all is the same.
