Farmall A-192 Plow??

The plow attaches to the two ears on the front steering sector casting. This makes me a little nervous. If I should hit a dead stop like a big rock or tree root, I'm concerned the results may not be good.
Does anyone know if the A-192 has any history of breaking the front casting?

We add a rubber edge to the blade that hangs down 2.00 " past the bottom edge . The rubber flexes and jumps over cracks and uneven cement .

The rubber we use you can get at a place that sells snow plows , they use it on road commission trucks . It is "VERY" pricie so ask for a used one or pieces of one and put it together . I have never hurt anything doing it this way and i have this set up on a cub .

One of my co-workers bent the the beam on his dad's plow when he was using his Farmall A. I wouldn't plow too fast, when I had an A, I plowed in low gear and it would start to spin a little if it hit something. Did a nice job plowing too.

You can break the torque tube if you are not ready to push in the clutch and snag something solid.
