Hi Everyone,
Here is a link to my album of photos of my 1943 Farmall H that I restored. I'm almost 15 and I restored this tractor, it was in pretty rough shape when I got it, but it was running (not running good). This tractor used to be my Grandpa's tractor. My Grandpa died in 1998 and now I own his tractor. I restored it and I painted it and I really love this tractor! It starts and runs great. You can see my photos by clicking the link below.

Thanks,
Andy Motteberg

Andy, great looking H. I own my dad's 1950 H, which was sold on his farm sale when he retired in 1980 and I found back again in 2003. Everytime I climb aboard and start her up I get goosebumps...and I'm 70 yrs old! Don't EVER sell that tractor, no matter how much you are offered for it. I have a sign made for mine when I take it to shows:

This Is The Tractor I Drove As A Boy

Purchased new in 1950 $1400.00
Sold at farm sale, 1980 $ 975.00
Repurchased 2003, well used $ 800.00
Restored 2004 Many dollars Many hours
50+ Years of Memories PRICELESS!

I get a lot of great comments from people when they read that sign.

Looks very nice! I too have a 1943 H that I redid and repainted this summer! Mine has the rear cut-off wheels like yours but mine has a single front wheel. there is a pic of it in the tractor photos on this site!

Heck yea. thats what I like!

A tractor is ok but when its part of the family, heck, thats the best you can get.

Great job Andy

Very nice!
Now you just have to throw a feed sack on the seat and it will be ready to go!

Don't leave it parked by that road too long or someone will come along and buy it. ;>)

Yep, A nice red & white tie on seat cover is on my Christmas list! I don't leave it parked by the road, I just parked it there for pictures because there is so much junk in the yard. I don't have a garage, so I park it in the backyard with all of our other tractors. The tractors are not visable from the road when they are in the backyard.

Thanks,
Andy.
