I attended a sale on Sat. and watched an 806 with a turbo fetch $10,000 . This was a good lookig tractor all original paint and good tires and duals, Are these tractors selling for that much or was there some hidden factor involved here?

Sometimes people go berzerk and lose their sanity at auctions. (Which is good if you're selling.)

One trap is people bidding outrageous prices for an older car or pickup with very few miles belonging to an elderly person. People will bid up to two or more times bluebook price, then if they drive it for a year and put a normal amount of miles on it they have an outdated vehicle worth average price.

That's probably about $4,000 higher than it should have been. Even if it was an exceptional example I don't think it should have been over $8,000. Makes me wonder if maybe some family members were involved?

Last weekend a common 630 JD brought over 10K, Faimly was fighting over it, I have seen that over and over, normally 806s are around 3500-6000 depending on condition around here, my 2 cents worth.
