By looking at that setup I was wondering if the bottom swing arms have much movement from side to side and if so how much? With the way they are hooked and braced under the tractor it doesn't look to be much room for them to move.

The one in the picture below was mfg by Cross Mfg in southeast MO. I had one for a while, and sold it. Price was right, and looked good, however I was never happy with the one I had. I broke one of the lift arms (the one below has been reinforced with angle). I removed the arms on mine, and replaced with chain, but the geometry never seemed right and I had trouble with about every piece of equipment I tried to attach. It either would not lower enough, or lift high enough no matter what I did. I still have my C, but stick with the equipment built for the factory hitches. Others say they have had good luck with the Saginaw hitches. I never could get over the price on that one. I guess I would get over the price if I did not already have a 3 point tractor. I have seen a couple of home made hitches that looked very good and easy to make, but the geometry would make all the difference in whether it actually worked.
