How about it fellows, CNKS your the expert on white demonatrators. Photo add 193474, advertised as a Super C demonstrator. Someone should advise that bird all demos were 1950 models. No Super C tractors built in 1950, and no Super C with 5 diget serial numbers. He has the serial number 47617 right for a 1950 Farmall C.

At least the serial is in the "accepted" range for demo's. The decals are wrong as the demos used the same ones as the non-demos (Also installed crooked), they weren't red, thus were hard to read. There was no "demonstrator" decal either. I fail to see the attraction of the white tractors. $6000 for white paint with the wrong decals?

CNKS: I had a feeling there was more wrong than I was seeing. Precisely why I drew it to your attention.

The grill and the gas tank/hydraulic setup shows it to be a C. He is really proud of it for the price he is asking.

Hugh, I think he simply made a mistake, or didn't really know the difference. It does have the right decal on it, and is a C. More than likely is a demo as the serial number is in the demo range.

You're dead right. Some Cubs', Super A's and C models were painted white in 1950 as part of the 'Mid Century' sales promotion. A lot of them were repainted Red before sale as the white was not popular. In fact the story goes that some of them were painted red after sale by the owners because they were blinding to drive on a sunny day. All Super C's had 6figure No's This info from 'Letter Series Farmalls' MTF
