Bought a muffler for my super c yesterday, but they didn`t have the pipe that goes into the manifold. Can I buy a pipe nipple? Does anyone know the size and length?Does the clamp end up above the hood? Thanks, Jeff

Everyone says 1-1/2" but in looking at mine it looks like 2-inch. I was a pipefitter for years and it looks to be 2-inch to me. Could be wrong.

Scott: All C-113 and C-123 engines were 1-1/2" exhaust pipe. All the factory C-123 had the pipe 2" longer to allow for the higher hood.

Red: I glad Jim posted before you came back. 1-1.2" probably would had you scratching your head.

Red: Standard 1-1.2" pipe standard pipe thread, should extend 3-4 inches above hood. Clamp goes above the hood. Black iron pipe is best.

Hugh The size is 1-1/2, I think the decimal point makes a non size! Maybe a glitch, My answer to a question earlier was reproduced 8 times in two places within 30 seconds. Who could say! JimN

Jim: I've been hitting a lot of wrong keys lately, thanks for the heads up. I guess one could call it old and stupid in my case. Anyhow that pipe is 1-1/2"
