Turning Radius of Farmall M

Basic question. Which tractor would have a tighter turning radius. Both Farmall M models. One has a wide front axel and the other has the narrow twin tire set-up. And if there is a difference, how much difference is there? And finally, if you were to use the tractor for pulling impliments in a large garden which type of front would be more practical?
Looking forward to your thoughts.
thanks

For large garden you need a Super C. None any better for it.

I have an M Tricycle. It can turn on the inside tire. The M wide fronts are like turning around a car. Depending on the size garden an M is too Big. I would look for a C or Super A. M's Weigh alot and will make a mess turning sharply with brakes in loose damp soil.

The narrow front will turn far shorter than a wide front, if you use the turning brakes it will turn within its own length. The narrow front should also be cheaper - lot of guys pay at least a 15%-20% premium for a M with a wide front.

Problem is just because you can turn shorter doesn't mean you can. The impliment you are hooked to will hit the back wheels in most instances.

The narrow front end will turn much sharper than a wide front. The narrow front will turn sharp enough to stop the inside wheel and pivot around. I have to ask, just how big a garden? An M is pretty big for a garden patch, at least mine is. I would worry about excess soil compaction. I think they were designed for 100+ acre farms. I have never driven a C but that might be better. I have an F-12 that turns on a dime, has plenty of power and is easy on fuel and doesn"t weigh mega tons. A C is simillar to a F-12 in size and has more implements avail. If you really want an M I may sell mine as soon as I find a 3 point hitch for the H.

The tricycle front end will turn shorter.
