Anybody out there own a 350 disk? I am looking at one, long distance. It has 28 blades, 9" spacing for 10'6" cutting width. I was wondering if anyone had one that would measure how long the disk is. I want to see, if I get it, how hard it would be to set it on a trailer sideways and take the tongue off to haul home. It's too far to pull it on its own.

TIA
Al

I have a 350, but it is only 9 feet wide. I hauled it sideways after removing the tounge. It worked great.

Al: I think you will find it quite easy to get a 350 down to 8'to 9'. 4 bolts will drop each gang clear of the frame, then you put frame and wheels on trailer direction of travel.

Even if you drop the gangs, put them in your pickup, grease the wheels good and tow the frame. 75% of the weight will be gone without the gangs on there.

I saw a guy take the gangs off and put them on top of the frame,(end for end) heavy to the front, and down the road he went.
