I asked the guy about it and he told me that is where the battery goes (middle of tractor) What gives??? the serial number is 140xxx thanx ahead of time.

My Super C has the battery in the middle of the tractor. I"ve got a Super MTA that has the battery under the seat. I"m not sure which location I like least, but its got to go somewhere. The battery on the C is fairly difficult to remove. You have to disconnect the rods on one side. To remove the M battery, 2 bolts must come out and the seat goes back.

I have never had to disconnect anything but the battery box on any of my C'c or Super C's.

jonnny: Don't know as I'd call it the middle of the tractor, all the tractors from C through to 230 had battery between dash and hydraulic unit, same as all the offsets.

Battery location is correct, in the middle of the tractor. Under the seat is a tool box.

Batteries went under the seat in the larger tractors with live hydraulics (Super series and up through the 350/450).
