C123 sleeves

Took the pistons out of my SC last night. Didn't have enough time to drop the crank, but took a quick look from below. Are those JUST the sleeves protruding down from the block, or is that a cast flange? I hope it's just the sleeves - piece of cake to tap out from below once I remove the crank.

Thanks

You can build a puller like Keith's. Hal

Thanks El Toro, Forgot about the flywheel - getting ahead of myself. Hopefully They will tap out without a puller. Everything seems nice & loose (hence the rebuild!)

You need to measure that crankshaft for being eggshaped or worn. I would pull the engine and then you can examine the clutch fo wear. That block area needs to cleaned where your sleeve seals are and at the top of the block where the recessed area is for the top of the sleeves. Hal

You can bump them out from the bottom with a piece of 2X2 oak and a hammer and just tap on them. They're not pressed into the block.

If you don't have engine off the tractor I don't think you get the crankshaft out. Your flywheel and clutch are all connected to name a few items. Hal
