Could someone please tell me the point gap on an E4A magneto? What is needed to convert from an E4A to an F4 magneto on a Farmall Regular?
Thank you. Duane

My (original) McCormick-Deering 10-20 Instruction Book says .012" to .014".

The F-4 and E4A bases are the same, but I believe that a different coupler is required.
Somewhere in this forum, there was a discussion of this, with answers. If I come across it, I'll write again.

The conversion part i can answer. The coupling part at the governor is different, unless you can find a coupler that will go from small to large, they are around. Basically, the f-20 f-4 equipped setup will fix you up. Before i found that out, we made a coupler out of aluminum once. I'd hafta lookup the point gap.
