I know this is a farmall forum. But this must be the sports car of the tractor world? Wonder how difficult parts are to obtain.

There's 2 or 3 restored Porsches that turn up at shows here locally every summer. All are air-cooled 2 cylinder diesels like this one.

Bungartz (another German outfit) also built very similar-looking air-cooled diesel tractors. A friend of mine pulled one out of the woods a couple years ago and restored it.

No help here on the parts. Sorry.

Haven't seen a Porsche yet, but saw a Lamborghini at a show in Ohio. It was a crawler, but the fellow that had it had mounted wheels with tires to the rear axles, and had a free-turning caster under the front, so that he could drive it around the grounds and still steer it with the brakes as was intended.

Blue and orange. It was a beautiful restoration, and a wondrous thing to behold.

I remember reading somewhere a story along the lines that Lamborghini was building tractors at the same time that Enzo Ferrari was looking for a new engine for his cars with more torque than what he had. Lamborghini's tractor engine fit the bill, but Ferrari would not have the world know that his racing car was powered by an engine designed for a tractor. Supposedly, Lamborghini said, "Okay, I'll put it in a car to prove my point," and the rest is history.
