There are a number of IHC Chapter 14 members down that way. I hope they are ok.

The fires are in the hills along the ocean for the most part. Mostlly housing developments and mansions not many tractors there unless there would happen to be a collector.

well, I have no clue, but I have heard of tourched tractors being restored, the tires, wires, and usually sheet medal are destroyed, but the block, transmission, rims, etc are usually salvagable.

I have all the gears from the guts of an 806 that burned years ago. They were not hurt.

thats cool. probally too early for anyone to worry about tractors anyway. Human life is obviously the main concern. Just hate to see history burn up. jonnnny2006

Hi Jonnny, yep I bet a few might get caught up in that mess. There is one I hope won"t and we all know who that is. My girlfiends two sisters are out that way just north of SD and under voluntary evacuation orders at this time, but that could change any min. we have been pretty much concerned about them tonight. Pray hard! They are good folks!
