Used water gauge lying around?

Does anyone have a working water temp gauge lying around that they are willing to part with? Condition doesn't matter, as long as I can see it and it works. I have none right now, and I'm just looking for one to get by with until I buy my new full correct set. The other gauges I have right now aren't even IH, so really, whatever piece of crap you've got that you don't want, I'll be happy with.

Hi Mike, I just changed the ones on my H and M. The old ones were cheap aftermarkets and were both junk. I thought the one on the M was working, but it turned out the engine vibration was moving the needle. If one of them was working I would be glad to send one your way, butttt. If you find one on a junk yard you may be able to fix it if it has corrosion on the end that goes into the water jacket and doesn"t work and get it for free. Those gauge tubes are filled with ether and solderd shut I was told. the amount of ether added sets the working range so it may take a few times to get it right unless you can find out the exact amount to add. If a gauge has a bent or kinked capillary tube it is a nightmare to fix. You could end up with a decent original for as little a $5.

Wow, a drive by insult, and you didn't even have the balls to use your real name. Seriously, cry me a river, cupcake. If you have a problem with the way I came into this hobby you'll have to take that up with the gentleman who entrusted me to take care of his tractor. He's too nice of a guy to tell you where to stick your problem, as I will. But out of respect for the legitimate readers in this forum, I'll just let it go.
"begging" third party image whatever.

Anyway, the gauges that I've seen in my parts catalogs are around $70. I guess thanks to your expert opinion I'll go check the auto store for your $10 miracle gauge.
I just thought someone might have an old one replaced from a restoration that still had some life in it that they may want to sell. Apparently you don't.
