The H smokes alittle when started and the oil pressure is at about 1:30. I don't notice any smoke while im using the tractor but once the tractor comes up to temp. the oil pressure runs at about 9:30 or 10:00. Is this just rings and the sleeves or another problem? Thanks

Might try a master gage in place of the one that's on it now. Probably not the problem, but easy to check.

If you have an unmarked gauge, then I understand your clock face description. The real pressure should be above 60 when cold and stay above 20 when hot and above idle. (assumes good fresh oil like 15-40, or 10-40)
If lower, or you are nervous, pull off the oil pan and check over the oil pump, and pickup screen. Those oil pumps have had issues with warped end plates. They can be flat sanded on a piece of glass to make them seal again. Look in the archives (search for) above for H oil pump repair. JimN

My gauge goes from 0 to 75 with no numbers in between so it makes it hard to know what PSI your running at. I put 30W oil in it yesterday and after running it for about 2 hours when i turned it down to idle it went way down to just above the 2 lines above the 0. Today i put 15w 40 oil in it and it seemed to be better. There in no knocking noise, it runs great.

Oil pressure is dependent on bearing clearances/tolerances - rings and sleeves are for compression.

Your explanation of oil pressure is useless for a diagnosis of a problem. Get a mechanical gauge that reads in pounds.

An H only needs about 20 psi of oil pressure at full throttle to be reliable. Factory spec for the relief valve is 75 psi, but they will run many many years at 20 psi.

Rule of thumb: 10 psi per 1000 rpm.

Do you hear any knocking noises?

Your oil pressure is determined by the close tolerances on your cam and main bearings. Hal
