The drive dog in the bottom of the pic does not want to come off, it does come off counter clockwise correct?

Tried a liitle heat but still no go.

Might have to make a bigger tool, the one on the belly pump came right off with little effort at all.

Spent over an hour last night just rying to get it off

Any suggestions?

Randy

Make a tool that fits the slot. Maybe a piece of 1/2 inch thick steel thay you weld a nut on. If you can get an impact wrench in there, use that. If not use a box end wrench and a hammer. Lock the shaft by putting the PTO in gear and then putting something on the PTO shaft to hold it from turning. I use an old PTO yoke with a bar though it.

I made a handy dandy tool by welding an old bolt to a piece of key stock and use my impact wrench. Yes, it is righthand thread.
