I"ve got a very nice 154 LoBoy with an irritating problem. Lots of oil in the distributor. The engine has low hours and no blow-by to speak of. Am I looking at a shaft seal (not shown in my parts catalog) or what? Any help appreciated.

There is also an oil seal in the block, it is listed as a mag drive seal, that runs on the governor shaft that turns the distributor. It is shown in the parts breakdown for the block.

There is an o'ring in the housing that seals the drive shaft.Remove the rivet from the drive gear and disassemble distributer and remove shaft.
