I have a friend that has a international 2250 loader from a 584 and i want to put it on my 706,will it fit without alot of modifications? Is there alot of differences on how the loader bolts up to on a 706,is it worth it to put it on,or should I look for a different loader?

Hi Brandon, a year ago I helped my brother switch his 2250 Quick Attach loader from his 495 to his 3230(newer 584). The 3230 is 8 inches longer than the 495 and the side frame rails had the extra holes drilled to fit the 3230 but the front mount had 1 hole that was not drilled. Must have been coffee break time.
Looked at CIH parts web site and there were 7 different frame and bracket options for 2250 loader. The one for my brother's 2250 and 3230 was page 2-14.

Good luck

Hi Jim, I thought to look at the Case-IH parts page myself. Too bad they don't tell you which mounts are for which tractor, at least I couldn't find that info. I didn't see any that look quite like the ones on our 706.

Compare the mounting brackets. They might require a few holes to be drilled, they may not line up at all. We put a 2250 on our 706, was told the brackets came off of an 884, but I really don't know what they came from. They lined up pretty close but would not bolt up. Took tractor and mounts to local welding shop and had him drill the needed holes.
