I need to know the correct placement of three decals for a very early (1940) A Farmall. This is before the "Cultivision" name was used.
The decals in question are: 1. "BE CAREFUL Do Not Make Short Turns...."
2. "SAFETY FIRST Stop Power Take-off Before..."
3. " Do Not Attempt To Pull When Drawbar Is Removed....."

All help will be greatly appreciated.

#1 - Center of fuel tank, top of decalfive inches hehind the filler neck
#3 - Centered on the rear of the seat , 2" below the lip

From Guy Fay's Originality guide, these placements are for the SuperA, and are fine for #1 and #3 as far as the A.

#2 - A little muddy on this one. Center of fuel tank, one inch behind #1, but that's for the Super A. The placement drawings and info for the A are much less detailed than for the Super, and do not mention #2 for the A . In fact, for the A, the book puts puts a pneumatic tire pressure decal where I describe #2 being.I don't take this to mean that #2 is inaccurate or not original for an A, just that it wasn't specifically mentioned for the A. In short, the book doesn't say specifically where #2 would go on an A. Myself, I put #2 on my '47 BN as described, right behind #1.
