Will the mounting brackets off a 856 with a year a round cab work on a 656????

Not even close.

You're going to have to find brackets for a small frame (which is not going to be easy) or just plain build 'em.

The two tractors are totally different.

Not without alot of modification. The 856 is a large frame tractor and the 656 is a small frame tractor. They are totally different in the way the front brakets bolt up to the transmission housing. The rear ones will bolt to the axles pretty easy tho.

NO Ya have oEither find the mounts from a 656-686 as that is going to be the only direct fit . 06-66 large frame is one thing and 656-686 is another as it is small frame . Like i said yesterday Ya get the mounting FOR the tractor or ya make them .

A cutting torch and an Arc weilder will make a Year Around Cab off an Allis fit a 756. so the same should work with a 856 and a 656.
