886 Light Problem

I know it is not antique, but I thought I would post the question here. We have an 886 that when we use the lights they will work for about 5 or 10 minutes, shut off, then about 2 minutes later they come back without ever having to touch the switch. I am thinking there is a bad relay, but not sure where to even start looking. Any ideas?
Thanks
Lance

I would start with the lite switch and check all the connections on it then work back to the source of the feed . Sounds like a loose wire to me .

I know on our 1086 the relays and fuses/breakers are under the steering column - if that helps.

I also know that I"ve had to clean up the connections a few times to keep the lights working, as well.

We have had same trouble on 886 - for 29 years! We have found it handy to leave the panel cover off so that you can get to the fuses and connectors (tractor has cab on it so no problem with getting wet).
