I need to know how the connecting rods in a farmall 300 are installed on the crankshaft. I was told that the stamped numbers on the rod caps face the cam side of the motor. Is this correct or does the rod caps face the cam side since they are offset. I"m not sure please help!!! I need to get my tractor back together. Thanks, Brian

The caps are offset to the carb side of the engine. They can be seen at caseih.com search for parts, start your search here. Enter farmall, then select H then crankshaft and associated parts. JimN
