IN just two days with a cold light rain . This will slow down outside work . Went from 90 to 50 in two days . But we did get a bunch done while it was nice . We have three fields of corn to pick but only room for one in the last crib need to plant one more field in barley . Got all of the hay done for this year Bunker is fuller then it has been in the last twenty years . This years batch of chickens are in the freezer and the new batch of feeder pigs are in the barn . And jobs that need done yet is see why and the hell-o the combine will not run . Got all the spring and summer equipment put away . Need to do and upgrade on some wiring on the 806 and 706 so the new work lites i installed on the grinder mixer will work since between grinding feed for the cows and pigs will more then likely be done in the dark i mounted two work lites and a hot wire for the scales to keep the battery charged up when hooked to the tractor got tired of having it go dead and always working in the dark . When that is done i'
ll be a happy camper.

Down here I don't have to worry to much about insulated tops and flannels. It did drop to about 83 yesterday, but was back up to 90 today. I got tired of having my fingers frosted in central Illinois and moved to south Texas. Just about 18 miles north of Brownsville. We have summer, summer, and about 2 weeks of winter (maybe a frost). Two years ago we had our 100 year snow (maybe 1" or so on the ground for a day) and everyone went crazy. They had never seen the white stuff before. Think I will just enjoy my heat and read about your cold.

It's hit NW GA also. Earlier in the week my electronic thermometer hit a high of 93. Today it topped out at 69. 41-43 tonight. Go figure! David.

Here in Minnesota it went from the high 80's down to where there was an area in the north that had 2 to 3 inches of snow. I am in the central & it gets in the 30's overnight.

Oh yea , been up in your country before and the weather up your way is like the mood of a woman . Like the last time i was N. Dakota when i left the Buckeye and looked at the national weather guessers map they were in the mid 80's and we were in the mid 70's and since it was the first part of May like a dumb arrs i did house cleaning of the clothes that were hanging in the bunk of the semi as i thought that i might as well take all the heavy winter Carharst out and have the wife give them a bath as spring is here and it is warmer out there then here . But i left one insulated vest one lined long sleeved shirt and my hooded sweatshirt in , thank GOD When i pulled out on monday morning i had the A/C on and all the way out there got there wenesday around noon and it was windy and 85 at Bismark could not unload till the next morning up north of Bismark at the power plant SOOOoo layed around the truck stop had a fine dinner then went to the bar for several hours and at 11 i figured that i had best get to bed . Now i had not been out of the truck stop since 5 PM and the truck was setting out there NOT RUNNING and when i hit the door in a short sleeve shirt the temp. had went from 85 to now 25 . Ya just don't know how cold a sleeper can get in just a few hours . Took 45 Min. to get to the point that my teeth were not chatteren . And by noon the next day it was back up to 75 .

You guys got to be kidding me. I love summer IN summer but that 90 degree stuff was killing me. Drenched in sweat and bugs swarming all over me in October is too much. That first day it went into the seventies was heaven. Admittedly, it is a little cool now...

Vet, it is the same deal here in KY. Was 91 and 92 all week end for the tractor show. Now it is 51. We didn't even get any rain, but at least it is cooler.

Fall weather is definately here and I really don't much care for it. All those extra layers of clothes makes it difficult to move.
