What are the steps to remove the gas tank from a 300 Utility tractor? Any help will be welcomed.

Remove fuel by drailing at the sedement bowl.
Remove side and center sheet metal.
Remove all lines and attahced brackets.
Remove the Mount bolts and the sedement bowl (prevents breaking it off).
Lift and remove (do not stress test any remaining lines or wires, they will break.
I cannot remember if aircleaner parts need to come off, but it is possible. JimN

Do you have to remove the metal housing that holds all of the guages?

On our 350 we did not, but I cannot guarantee the result on a 300. JimN
