If i get around to putting this 466 on my 560 diesel, I will need a 966 flywheel,to my knowledge that is, will the starter ring gear on the 966 flywheel line up with starter on the 560D?? Im also guessing I will need a bigger starter?

The ring gear for a 560 is 15.720" OD & 14.485 ID with 125 teeth. The 966 ring gear is 16.680" OD & 15.485" ID with 132 teeth. The starter holes are in different locations in the clutch housings. You can put a 466 in a 460 by using a 666 flywheel and rear engine plate. I don't know of a flywheel that will bolt in a 560.

I'm pretty darn sure it will work. As far as I know, 560 and 966 used the same starter drive. The starter motor itself is one size bigger on the 966. 30MT on 560, 35MT on 966.
