Well now I finally did it, I went and got another tractor. I bought an old 560 Wheatland Diesel. Went down and picked it Friday evening. Shes all complete, the other piece of tin is in my truck, with a pair of wheel weights, and some fairly decent rear tires on the old beast, heck it even came with a custom lengthened muffler.

I took these pictures when I dropped it off up at school Saturday morning. Cant wait till tomorrow so I can unload the beast.

Ya think I did well?

Looks a lot like one a friend of mine in your area just picked up...

Nah, couldn't be.

What I'm surprised at is that it fit between the trailer fenders!

Ya about that, it didnt fit between the fenders, the right wheel just went up and over, worked pretty slick, the trailer had no problem holding that old beast.third party image

J J you must not like that little trailer. If I tried that much weight on a light trailer...it would be my luck to be poping tires and bending axles all the way home. That old lady is heavy Bubba....

That's an 11,000# GVWR trailer. Two 5000lb axles, plus 10% on the tongue. Should be adequate for a 560 if the tires aren't loaded, no wheel weights, etc..

What I'm surprised at is that it fit between the trailer fenders!

It is not currently running, the engine has locked up on the old beast. Ya I'm gonna be at school bright and early tomorrow so I can hook the trailer back up, pull in behind the shop and unload the old girl. third party image
