Does anyone have a 450D manual that they would like to donate to a good cause? or Anyone know a good Canadian connection for finding one?

My IT manual (IH-10)covers the gas and the diesel models from 300 to 450. It is for mechanics who know about tractors. The more you know about tractors, the more you can get out of the manual. I think it cost $21 or $26 .

I know alot of guys on this site don"t like them, but I"ve found IT manuals to be of a lot of help. I think a lot of TSC stores carry them. I don"t think one for a 450 would be all that expensive. Less than 30 bucks I suppose.

Jim has the sources covered. As a person who won't touch an unknown piece of machinery without a manual I can tell you that ebay is likely to get you the cheapest manual...but you must be patient and catch the right auction. Binder, YT, and dealers have all sold me manuals that were good (amd pricey). Sometimes the on-line sources will bundle manuals...operators and service...for a special price. I really enjoy the search on ebay and will sometimes buy a manual before I buy the equipment. One other thought....try posting on Red Power and asking about an on-line manual. Guy over there put the entire manual set for the TD-6 on a website for me that gave me 100 free log-ons to read it. I was able to print some pages. It was pretty nice.

Thank you so much, I did that once for a 55 Cadillac I once had, ordered the entire manual on CD was great in ways but hard to take to the shop with you. Guess it is good enough reason to buy a laptop :)

Ebay, this site, Binder Books, the dealer. All have them. Local libraries have many (quite often)that can be photo copied as needed. JimN
