my uncle just bought a farmall A for 500 bucks had been sitting in a shed for 10 years(coverd up tho) so its stuck but it has all new ruber everything is great on it and it has a loader i think its awsome..how do you think we did ?

no its a dual arm bucket with float down but hydraulic dump and rise but no tis not going to be a working tractor its going to be restored and such we got it just for the love of old iron

If it is an IH 1000, it will bring probably 2-3 times what you paid. There is one for sale, the guy is asking $1850. That's the loader alone. Hope you can get it free and enjoy!![/code]

Hey Pat If it is the model 1000 one arm loader, you done good price wise, they are fairly rare. If you want it to restore, show and play with, go for it. If you want to work it, go buy a real loader tractor. Two good men with shovels can outwork that loader. BTDT.

You should pull the plugs and pour ATF on top of the pistons and let it soak. Hal

im not sure how bad its stuck i alume its not bad becuase it sat coverd up for ten years in a barn its my uncles thing so im braggin for him but i suspect its just moisture in the crankcase were gonna let it soak for a week and try unsticking it
