Baumheckel and Borghoff in International Harvester Farm Equipment Product History 1831-1985 say that F-14, F-20 and F-30 were manufactured into 1940 (thus overlapping H, M and A and B production). The F-12 WAS manufactured into 1938, but was superseded that same year by the F-14. I am sometimes leery of accepting everything I read in all the pretty books that come out about tractors, but this one looks well-researched and I am inclined to believe what they say. Final serial numbers of each model are included, and I will look them up for anyone interested. Just post a reply here and I'll answer in a day or two.

IHC was a company that never wanted to throw away parts. As a result, a quite a few F-20s were made in 1940 using left over parts. Thus, the F-20s were last made in 1940. Others in the series were probably the same.

old: Your right, I think there were a few F-20 and F-30 in 39. The F-12 would have ended couple years before that as it was followed by the F-14 and it ended in 39.
